An Ideal of Kindness Toward All

Lune Lune, our little cat friend of the Water element, had been taken in by Guruo.

Guruo, who was trying to do his very best, appeared to some of the others as if he were deliberately trying to be the teachers’ favorite. There was, of course, a great deal of jealousy, which also revealed a barely hidden desire to be more valued themselves.

Lune Lune reflected on the situation:

“It seems that there is a certain lack in the values shared by everyone. Acting like Guruo should not create jealousy, but instead inspire admiration and encourage each person to rise higher.”

Guruo was an orphan and had been taken under the wing of Vati, the Shape of Wisdom.

“This had created envy…” thought Lune Lune.

“Moreover, no one knew where he came from, nor what his element was. And once again, the kindness that is taught seems to stop at those who belong to the same element…” Lune Lune lamented.

As he whispered these words, Vati heard him and a discussion began.

“You have touched upon an essential point,” Vati told him.

Lune Lune listened passionately to Vati’s words, whom he admired greatly.

“It has only been a short time since we discovered that all the elements are, at their origin, only one and the same species. The values of kindness toward all are still today only an ideal shared by a few people…”

“The StarDust that we have within each of us perfectly represents what our world could become if the elements united their strengths.”

“Our StarDust…” thought Lune Lune.

“Yes, and this ideal of kindness can become reality thanks to it!”

    A Brilliant Argument

When the Seven Shapes decided to try to rally the Five Elements behind a single cause, it seemed unrealistic, almost utopian. For a Noble Cause

The Seven Shapes had understood one thing: no Esper was born with knowledge of the world, its history, or its tragedies. Physical and Mental Strength

    Reversal of Priorities

In a world where magic was queen and everything seemed possible, the priorities that were nevertheless essential had long been set aside. Not by deliberate choice. History has shown many times how human beings have been capable of atrocities toward other human beings.
